MOONBALL

Every winter, our Alpha Tau chapter hosts an annual fundraiser: "Moonball," a blacklight dodgeball tournament, to raise money for our philanthropy. All other organizations on McGill campus are invited to join to both compete and support our philanthropic mission. Last year we hosted 20 teams and raised over $3,000 for the Montreal Children's Hospital. We look forward to doing better each year!
COOKIES FOR CRUNCH TIME

Cookies for Crunch Time is our solution to exam season stress! Gamma Phi Beta girls bake and sell cookies before exam week to raise money for our philanthropy and add a little sweetness to your studying. This is also a time when sisters can bond over baking and give back to the community.

Gamma Phi Beta's philanthropic mission statement is Building Strong Girls. Building Strong Girls reflects our belief that girls need to be socially, physically, and mentally strong to fully achieve their potential.

Building Strong Girls is about helping girls feel secure, make positive choices, think critically, and become strong leaders who contribute to their communities and make a positive difference in the world. As advocates for women, our organization envisions a community where every girl and woman has the skills to succeed in life. Our philanthropic activities aim to provide experiences and resources that build spiritual, mental and social resiliency in girls.
PHILANTHROPY
In order to achieve our mission, the Alpha Tau chapter of Gamma Phi Beta proudly partners with Girls on the Run, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Montreal Children's Hospital.
Through on-campus philanthropy events, our chapter raises money to donate to these organizations and provides volunteers to help with their yearly events.
